   Throughout the year, volunteers collect, repair, clean, and maintain hundreds of bicycles to be given out along with toys, hats, gloves, and other gifts to the children at Christmas time. Over the past 40 years of the ministry, many of these children have grown up and said, “You don't remember me, but when I was a little kid, your ministry was the only one who brought me and my family a gift for Christmas.” It is a memory that lasts a lifetime, and it was all because of Jesus! In so many families, there isn't enough money for the parents to buy their child a bicycle. God has provided a way for these children to be able to enjoy something most would take for granted.

     
     We know we are not the only ministry doing things like this. But it is encouraging to hear years later that it had such an impact on people's lives. As the Lord leads, those children will someday grow up to be adults who love Jesus. A bicycle can serve as a powerful and long-lasting reminder that Jesus loves the little children.
